Whoo hooo! Way to end a trilogy. I was sad when this one ended. We get to see the other Baba Yagas. The Chudo-Yudo in this was probably my favorite of the three. Blake has a formula for her books that really works for me. This Baba Yaga's backstory intrigued me. Of the three, Barbara is still my favorite, but Bella is a close runner-up. She was a bit more introspective than Barbara but I liked her motivations. I felt like her actions were believable--even at the end.

For a hero, Sam has a lot of pluses. He's tortured by his own past but he still interacts with others. His kindness towards those others made me fall in love with him. He's my favorite of the Baba Yaga heroes.

The two of them don't deny their attraction for long (a plus for me) but they have the normal bumps (well normal may be a bit off) that we all have when first starting a relationship. Miscommunication and angry reactions for the win.

Get all three. You won't regret it.

Wickedly Powerful is the third in an amazing series. I enjoyed this intriguing journey the author sent me on every time I opened each book. I do think that Bella is now my favorite baba. Hopefully this will not be the last time we hear from the Baba Yagas.
Hesitant when I first read the blurb for this series it has become a favorite.

I'm addicted to this series! I inhaled this book in about 2 days - it's fast paced and exciting and I couldn't put it down. There's mystery, danger, romance, and a dragon cat! What more could you want ) I love how events set up the plot for the next book and am so looking forward to finding out more about the mysterious Riders.
Every time I read one of the Baba Yaga books, I think it's my favorite. But then the next one comes out, and it becomes my favorite. I can't choose! This is one fiery and feisty Baba Yaga, and she definitely lives up to the red hair. I like the depth of the relationships she has with the other characters, it shows her human side. Looking forward to the next book.
This was my favorite Baba Yaga book! I loved the story and especially loved Sam, the hero. The author did a good job with his character, I really felt for him. It's not the typical romance, where the romance gets all the attention, more like an urban fantasy. Either way, it was good. It sets up the spin-off series about the Riders. I really enjoy this series and would highly recommend this book.
Wickedly Powerful is the third book in the Baba Yaga series that Deborah Blake has written and Bella Young is the third Baba that we've met. She was as much fun to meet as Barbara and Beka in books one and two. Her element is fire and that is the theme of this book. I really like Jazz, the teenage apprentice that Bella took under her wing in this story, it gives me hope for a fourth Baba! Perhaps with an affinity for the element air? ) There are at least three more in the works that will feature each of the Riders, who were Rider-napped in book three. I was not expecting the twist at the end or their ordeal! The only problem I have with this series is that I zip through the current book and then have to wait months for the next one to come out! Come on October and Mikhail Day's book, Dangerously Charming!
As always Deborah Blake hits another out of the park. I relaly like that Bella's Chudo-Yudo is a cat this time. While the basic charming formula is present, i love how developed all the Baba Yaga's are. Each have their own distinct voice and personality and I love sitting down and living the adventure with each of them. Wickedly Powerful is the 3rd installment in the Baba Yaga books, and i always hate when I get to the end of the book! I look forward to the next book focusing on one of the Riders, but I really hope we get to come back around to the Baba Yaga's! All the ladies are charming in their own way and i love being wrapped in the magickal journey with them every time.
